Sweet Stuff

I have a girlfriend who is the sweetest person ever! So I wanted to make a card for her, to show her how much she means to me.

It really wasn't a very hard thing to do really...because I am addicted to my A Muse Studio stamps, and they give me lots of ideas.

As you can see, my cards are pretty simple. That is because I want the image to be the focus. And I have discovered that the Copic original markers are great for coloring those tiny gumballs.

You know what else is pretty sweet, and has me pretty excited? My A Muse Studio website goes live this Friday!

I tell ya, it is going to be awesome!

At 12:01 pst on April 1st, you can place your orders directly online through my website.
I tell ya, life can't get any simpler...or sweeter!

A card for a guy

Do you ever have this problem? You need to create a card for a guy, but just can't seem to come up with an idea that would suit his personality? Well, I have this problem often. Most guys I know don't like flowers and lots of bling, they are pretty simple. So that got me to thinking...

...and then I created this:

I used my new stamp sets from A Muse Studio, and can you hear me squealing over here?

I tell ya, I am in love with them...

I used Copic markers to color the tie and my colorless blender pen to create the stripes within it, to give it a bit of visual interest. In addition, 3D foam adhesive was used to make the shirt "pop" out of the card.

Guess making a masculine card isn't so hard after all!

Our Catalog

Our new A Muse Studio catalog is here. And I have to say, it is gorgeous! All images within the catalog are true to size, and we have many designs for all your creative projects. If you enjoy cardmaking, scrapbooking, or making gifts for those you love....we have it all.

I have been purchasing A Muse stamps for the past seven years, and I am very excited that we have gone to cling-mount stamps. I have found that they are so much easier to store, and the image is very clean and crisp. Plus you never have to wonder if your image will be in the right spot on the paper...cause now you can see exactly where it is. How cool is that?

The catalog has more than stamps too. We have beautiful paper which has a 80 lb weight with a white core. Which means that the paper has color on one side, and is white on the other. This is great because it allows you to easily see your sentiment within the card, and also enables you to emboss to create some wonderful effects. And let's not forget, coordinating acid-free ink pads in 39 beautiful colors.

A Muse Studio also has fabulous embellishments and tools for every creative project. Buttons, ribbon, brads, paper flowers, custom dies, and yes....Copics!

If you would like to see everything within our catalog, just click on the A Muse Studio link to the right and a pdf file will show its contents. But if you would like your own personal hard copy to hold and to cherish, (you know what I am talkin' about...'wink') just let me know. I can get one in the mail to you.

Have a wonderful day!

Taking the plunge!

A few weeks ago I discovered that A Muse was turning to consultants to spread the news about their products. I thought about it for a couple of days, and then decided that I should just take the plunge. I have been using their products for seven years, and absolutely loved everything they had. So I decided to go for it.

Not only am I an avid cardmaker and crafter, but I used to be a sales representative before I became a full-time wife and Mom. I still remember what I had learned about sales all those years ago...the basic thing is to remember the features and benefits of your product, love what you do, and that enthusiasm will carry you through. And that is easy to do with A Muse Studio products!

I hope you enjoy my new blog, and I am excited for us to begin our sentimental journey together!
