Christmas Thanks...

Now that Christmas is over...
And the decorations have all been put away...
It is time to create our Christmas Thank you cards!
No.  We do not express our thankfulness in an email....
Or a text message...
We send a hand made card!
And this is what our friends and family will be receiving this year.

And yes, I deliberately put the white embossed paper on the red cardstock crooked.
The heart-shaped grommets aren't on straight either.
I did that on purpose!

Too often us crafters get caught up in perfection.
We think that our images need to be on straight.
That our corners need to be perfect.
And that if we smudge something, we need to start over.
Well, nope.
I like the fact that my heart-shaped grommets aren't straight.
...and I wanted the white paper to be askew as well..
...just to keep things interesting.
That is what makes hand crafted cards so special!

Enjoy... and Happy New Year!
